רק צחקתי, רקדתי ושרתי;
עם אור הלבנה התיידדתי.

סופות מכות ללא רחם
כאשר נעלמים הכוכבים.
גם עת איבדתי את היקר לי מכל,

במקום נטול אור, חיים אין.
עתה, גיליתי את אלוהי האור.
