מחמר הקסמים הם מתבשמים.
בלהט המדבר המכושף,
גרגירי החול מסתחררים.
שבוי בקסם, שחר אדמדם,
בגוני הערב נעלם.
הבאים – הם יעזבו
גופם משוח בנופת המקסם.
במשחק הכשפים, התודעה מתרחבת;
והקוסם צוחק בלאט.
קשת הצלילים, מהופנטת מן הכשף,
מתנגנת בסולם של שבעה תווים.
משירים שתמו, רושם עוד נשאר
קסמם הענוג וטוב השפעתם.
מקסם זה אינו שקר; במעלליו הנצחיים,

With a magic wine, they get besotted
In the magic desert's hot airstream
