באורו של הממד הצורני את הנטול צורה מצאנו;
הוא אשר מעבר לצורה בא אל ביתנו.
רק בנבט התודעה את המגד החזקנו.
הנשגב מן הבינה, העניק תובנה.
עם פילוסופיה לא ראינו, עם מדע לא ידענו;
דרך התאולוגיה לא מצאנוהו אפילו קרוב.
באהבתנו השגנו, בלבנו אותו אחזנו;
ואותו רואות כל העיניים כאוות נפשן.
מלא רנן וקצב המהדהדים התמסרות,
אחוז במקצב ריקודי לניחוח הגות,
בטונים חלומיים רוויי חמלה,
כל הויה אותו הבינה מתוך חויתה.

One beyond form has come into our house
In the bud of mind only, the Sweet we have held
One beyond thought, apprehension He has given
With philosophy we did not see, with science we did not know
Through theology, we did not find Him even close
Having loved we've attained, we've held Him in our heart
And all eyes have seen Him now to their heart's content
Full of rhythm and song echoing devotion
Gripped by a dance beat to sweet-scented conception
