עם יאכטות, מעבורות וספינות בכל צד,
תכננו הם לתפוס את הגנב–
הונאתה של הפייה ודאי תחדל.
תודעתם וליבם רבו גאווה;
שאלוהים במתיקות חייך, בינתם לא תפסה.
חיצי אשליות נשאה עמה הפייה;
מבלי לפחד מאיש, עם הפרח היא חמקה.
